Hi, my name is
Casper, and I'm an umbrella
Cockatoo. I've been in my new home for about 2 months, and I'm
already spoiled rotten. When I first came to my forever home, I
was scared of everything--perches, stuffed animals, other
animals, and water. I just felt nervous all the time. I was
supposed to have been Rachel's dad's bird, but I just liked
Rachel better! Rachel spends a lot of time with me, and showed
me that I don't have to be afraid of everything.
I go everywhere with Rachel.
She taught me to play (I like to do somersaults in the air,
dance, and do flips in the air). I especially like meal time
with my new family. I love French toast at breakfast
(especially the Hawaiian kind with the pineapple in it),
spaghetti at lunch, and salad at dinner. I
don't speak as much as Daniel's Quaker, Giggles, who also lives
in this house, but I do say some things. I say hi, have a kiss,
I'm sorry, I tried, and of course my name, and pretty bird. I
also whistle a little.
Rachel calls me a spider bird
because I'm very flexible. I love to cuddle and try to get under the blankets of Rachel's bed.
